Everything You Need Under One Roof

Skin Dermatology is a one-stop shop for all cosmetic concerns. Our founder, board-certified dermatologist Dr. Alissa Lamoureux, has vast experience in treating aesthetic concerns of all kinds.

Acne

Acne can make those who struggle with it very self-conscious, and can take a serious toll on their confidence. Although it’s a common condition, acne breakouts can be devastating.

To treat acne breakouts, we use medical-grade facials including our carbon facial; chemical peels designed for acne, and a customized skincare regimen with our medical-grade skincare products

Aging

Although no one is exempt from the signs of aging, there are many treatments available to keep these signs at bay. Whether your concern is sagging skin, wrinkles, or hollow areas, we can help.

Botox® or Xeomin has the ability to reduce and prevent wrinkles, while dermal fillers provide a youthful plumpness to the skin and hide many effects of aging. We also offer many anti-aging face and body services.

Cellulite

Cellulite is a very common yet frustrating condition. Characterized by unsightly dimpled skin (mostly on the thighs and butt), cellulite often makes those who have it want to cover up.

We utilize the lCynosure laser-based WarmSculpting by  SculpSure® (also called WarmSculpting™) and the radiofrequency-based TempSure® Firm™ to target cellulite and achieve firmer, smoother skin.

Double Chin

If you’re one of the many people who hate catching their double chin in the mirror, photos, or every time you look down at your phone, you’re not alone—but we can help.

Our approach to reducing a mild to moderate double chin is with our Cynosure SculpSure treatments, which have been FDA-approved specifically for this service.

Excessive Sweating

Approximately 15.3 million people in the U.S. experience excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). This can be a very troublesome condition, making those who have it very self-conscious and limiting their choice of clothing.

Neuromodulators are often an excellent solution for excessive sweating, as they block the nerves that trigger the sweat glands. This treatment can give patients a new, sweat-free lease on life.

Facial Volume Loss

One of the ways that age begins to show on the face is hollowing in the cheeks, temples, and under the eyes. This can result in an unhealthy or gaunt appearance.

To improve the appearance of hollow or sunken areas of the face, we use injectable fillers such as Juvéderm® Voluma, Revanesse® Versa+™, or Radiesse®. These fillers add youthful volume to hollow areas and stimulate new collagen.

Lips

Some people were born with thin lips, while others notice their lips diminishing with age. Either way, having lips that aren’t full or shapely enough for your preference can be disheartening.

Whether you’re looking for more volume or more shape, we have you covered. We are pleased to offer a wide variety of lip fillers including Juvéderm Voluma, Revanesse Versa+, Belotero®, Radiesse, and the RHA® Filler Collection.

Melasma

Melasma is a type of hyperpigmentation that develops in the skin (mostly in women) and is characterized by brown or gray patches that appear above the lips, on the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin.

After an in-office evaluation, we can treat melasma with chemical peels, prescription therapies, and/or the Lumenis PiQo4™ laser, which is excellent for treating deep pigmentation like melasma.

Pigmentation

Pigmentation is a frustrating condition that develops when the body makes too much melanin, causing discoloration on the skin. The most common causes for this condition are sun exposure, pregnancy, and some medications.

To treat pigmentation, we utilize the highly effective Lumenis  PiQo4 laser, our Cynosure Icon™ Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) device, or medical-grade chemical peels.

Pore Size

Enlarged pores aren’t only distracting; they are vulnerable to catching dead skin, oil, and debris—which can result in blackheads and whiteheads. In addition, large pores are often in very visible areas, such as the nose.

To best address enlarged pores, we use our highly advanced technologies including Cynosure ICON 1540 fractional skin resurfacing, Legend Pro™ RF microneedling, and carbon facials with the Lumenis PiQo4 laser.

Rosacea

Rosacea affects 16 million people in the United States, and is characterized by noticeable red skin that is inflamed, visible blood vessels, and/or small, pus-filled bumps. Flare-ups can be caused by many factors, including certain foods, alcohol, cosmetics, sun exposure, and much more.

We address this frustrating condition with our Cynosure Icon Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) device, which effectively uses controlled light to reduce inflammation, redness, and bumps.

Scars

Many individuals dislike their scars because they find them to be unsightly or distracting. No matter how old your scar may be, our high-tech devices can greatly improve their appearance.

Fractional skin resurfacing with our Cynosure 1540 laser destroys the outer layer of skin while also heating the underlying skin and creating new collagen. Our Legend Pro RF microneedling can also reduce scarring through the body’s wound repair process.

Stubborn Fat

No matter how much you may exercise and eat well, there will always be persistent pockets of fat that just won’t seem to go away. This can be in nearly any area.

SculpSure is a fat reduction and body contouring treatment that can destroy up to 24% of treated fat cells with each session.

Wrinkles

Wrinkles are the classic, telltale sign of aging. Crow’s feet, forehead creases, worry and smile lines all have a way of announcing our age—but with advanced technologies, wrinkles can be heavily reduced.

We use neuromodulators such as Xeomin® and Botox to both lessen the appearance of wrinkles and to prevent them. We also use a variety of dermal fillers to hide wrinkles, as well as fractional skin resurfacing, Legend Pro RF microneedling, and TempSure Firm to create a smoother look.

Unwanted Hair

If you’re ready for your skin to always be hairless, smooth, and ready to go, we are pleased to offer laser hair removal. This is also a great option for those with excessive body hair.

Our advanced Lumenis® Light Sheer Desire with ChillTip™ technology offers faster treatment times, more comfort during treatment, and better efficacy.

Sun Damage

If you’re a sun worshipper, chances are the proof is on your skin. Sun damage can manifest itself in many ways, including age spots, freckles, melasma, and more.

We reduce the appearance of sun damage using the PiQo4 laser, the Icon Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) device, or medical-grade chemical peels.

Spider Veins

Spider veins are characterized by small clusters of red, blue, or purple veins on the thighs, calves, and ankles. Although harmless, these vessels can cause those who have them to want to hide their legs.

For these unwanted veins, we use Asclera®, an FDA-approved injectable solution and anesthetic that causes the veins to disappear—often even as it’s being injected.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks (characterized by long, narrow streaks on the skin) often develop with pregnancy or significant weight loss, which can be disappointing when you want your body to look its best.

To reduce stretch marks, we utilize the Lumenis Legend Pro RF microneedling to create brand-new collagen to improve its appearance. We also use Cynosure fractional skin resurfacing to remove the upper layers of skin to help stretch marks be less visible.
