What to Expect During Your Consultation

Before your Belotero treatment, you will have a complimentary consultation with Dr. Alissa Lamoureux that should last about 10 minutes. During this meeting, she will fully educate you on the product, what to expect during the treatment, and what to expect in regards to side effects and results. She will evaluate your face, carefully listen to your concerns, and then develop a customized treatment plan that is tailored exactly to you.

She will also discuss any ongoing treatment plan with you. In addition, she will show you any pertinent before and after photos and may take photos of you as well so that your progress can be tracked. Dr. Lamoureux spends—at a minimum—double the time that any other dermatologist would spend with a patient. She develops a relationship first, and from there listens carefully to them, making them a part of their own treatment plan.

Once your personal treatment plan has been made, Dr. Lamoureux will help you prepare for your treatment. Before the injections, your skin will be cleansed and numbed (if needed). Dr. Lamoureux injects using her gentlest touch, and provides great care throughout the process. She has an artistic eye when looking at a patient’s face, and she has the ability to scan a face and know where to inject to create a more youthful and balanced appearance. She never over-fills her patients, and her focus is to maintain your natural good looks through subtle enhancement of your anatomy.
